new year, new luck…?

Absolutely unexpectedly, I can now start with the last sentence of my post from the end of October: “Now I wish everyone good nerves and health for the coming months …” – because, not only my, hopes for an early return to normal working life have unfortunately not yet been fulfilled.
Despite keeping my fingers crossed, the BuchDruckKunst Hamburg has now been hit again this year, the date of March 12 – 14 is unfortunately, no longer to be held in this still imponderable Corona situation. Fortunately, however, it is not a cancellation this time, but the fair will be postponed, to September 24 – 26, 2021.

…and now
please
summer
forever!

Oh, almost forgot: I reluctantly created an Instagram account at the end of October, after the Frankfurt Book Fair which failed to take place for the first time in my life. I had intended to only give it a try until the end of 2020, but now want to continue with it during the lockdown after all….

Spring 2019

TIME FLIES …!  Winter’s almost over, the days are getting longer,
and I have lots of ideas and plans for the not-so-new-anymore year – including a very special highlight:
I’m embarking on another book project (for Haupt Verlag publishers, of course);
the pub date is set for the fall of 2020.
Entirely refreshed and highly inspired I returned from a trip to Japan this past October,
a trip that had – nine years after my stay there as an artist in residence – long been overdue.
Now I’m looking forward to delving into new adventures involving paper and books!
I’ll be teaching another summer course at Sommerakademie Homburg,
and after a one-year hiatus I’ll also be exhibiting again at Mainzer Minipressen-Messe, the international fair for small publishers and book artists.

…and again
there’s
a new book
in sight!
