created in water, shaped with water,
folded, collaged, embossed, crushed, painted,
printed …

the world of paper offers vast horizons.

Paper should not lose its special character by trying to imitate other materials.
The lightness, vulnerability and aging of paper are its very own nature and account for its fascinating appearance.
I like to work with my own handcrafted paper and with raw cardboard, whose yellowing over time I appreciate as a patina with a beauty to its own.
To me, the most magical things are three-dimensional objects made of translucent papers, holding the form with an unbelievable strength never
expected of such a delicate material.
