 THE STUDIO Since 1998 we have lived and worked on the more-than-80-year-old premises of the former letterpress print shop Müllerschön in Winnenden, Germany, Marbacher Str. 25. Old wooden floors, lattice windows, letter cases and generous space form an inspiring environment for arts and crafts, and the big old trees in the garden provide shade for outdoor papermaking in the summer. Twice a year, our »KunstMarkt« art market has turned our studio (and the KellerGalerie, a viewing space located in the former paper storage) into a sparkling and eclectic center of attraction for artists, artisans and visitors from the region. At each market, we have displayed – alongside our own work – objects made by a dozen exhibitors working in different crafts. Each year we offer workshops on a variety of paper-related themes. In addition, our studio can be rented on a daily basis for other workshops and seminars. |
